# FAQ

> Answers to common questions about the Learning Commons Platform, Knowledge Graph, and Evaluators — covering pricing, access, data coverage, and integration. Organized by product area. Intended for developers evaluating fit or working through early integration.

<Accordion title="Why do I need to have an organization associated with my Learning Commons Platform account?">
  Moving forward, this is how the [Learning Commons Platform](https://platform.learningcommons.org) ↗ will manage organizations’ access to API keys, gated datasets, team collaboration, and permissions.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="How do I create an organization?">
  Sign in to the platform, and you will be prompted to create your organization. Any API keys you have will be linked to that automatically.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="When can I add people to my organization?">
  The ability to invite people to your organization is coming in early July 2026. We'll update this page when it's available.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="Will my existing API keys without an organization stop working?">
  No. Your keys won't change or stop working through this transition.

  If you don't create an organization by July 1, 2026, we'll create a placeholder organization automatically so your API calls continue working. You can fill in your organization details when you sign into the platform next.
</Accordion>

<Accordion title="I missed the deadline, and my API keys ended up in the wrong organization. What can I do?">
  Unfortunately, keys can't be transferred between organizations. You'll need to create new API keys in the correct organization and update your projects to use them.

  Your old keys will continue to work until you manually delete them, so you can migrate at your own pace.
